to Art and Animals Farm!
We
are a small family farm, located in Rutledge, Georgia, about 50 miles East of Atlanta. In 2005 we found our dream
home/farmette nestled between the six thousand acres of Hard Labor Creek State Park and historic
Madison Georgia. We couldn't wait to get started on our beautiful 10 acres on the gentle rolling
hills of East Georgia.
Since moving to our farmette, we have added...
a
little red barn and lots of animals. Current residents include 8 double registered Nigerian Dwarf Goats (NDGA/ADGA), 2
Great Danes, 1 Great Pyrenees, 2 cats and 7 brown-egg layer hens and 1 rooster.
I began
my herd of Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats in April of 2008 with two does and two wethers. In 2010 we had our second
very successful kidding season and now have two years experience in dairy farming and we LOVE the fresh milk, yogurt
and cheeses.
